About Milt
Milton N. Burgess is a Professional Engineer (PE) and Fellow of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (FASPE). He has worked with water for his entire career as mechanical engineer and contractor building hundreds of millions of dollars in mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems in the Western US including large wastewater treatment plants. Pumping, distributing, cleansing, and otherwise working to make this clear, crystalline, scarce resource called water available for drinking, bathing, heating, cooling and industrial uses is his business. He sits on the ASME A112 Plumbing Materials and Standards Committee that sets the plumbing standards for the US, and is the ASPE technical representative on the Plumbing Efficiency Research Coalition made up of the six major US and International plumbing organizations. He currently works as an expert witness in the construction industry and has authored numerous articles forASPE’s Plumbing Engineer.
